Meals allowed in case of gastritis

Gastritis is a disease of the century that can be diagnosed in 2/3 of the world’s population. The disease is often asymptomatic but prone to progression. Chronic gastritis can eventually lead to peptic ulcer and even stomach cancer. Clinical nutrition is not the only but an important part of the prevention and treatment of gastrointestinal diseases. What diet is recommended for gastritis: what can and should not be used in gastroenterologists?

Dietary Principles

Organizing proper nutrition for gastritis means a complete review of the diet, excluding foods that irritate the gastric mucosa. Steam and cooked food are preferred. It is forbidden to eat fried and fatty foods in any type of gastritis.

Stomach cataract meals are organized according to the rules:

  • the optimal temperature of the food is 20-50 °;
  • meals should be taken at the same time, 5-6 times a day;
  • avoid overeating;
  • Consider concomitant illnesses when choosing a diet for gastritis;
  • excludes alcohol, smoking;
  • refuses smoked, pickled, spicy foods;
  • have dinner 2-3 hours before bedtime;
  • chew food thoroughly;
  • refrain from snacking;
  • drink 30 minutes after eating;
  • Boil the food well.

This mode has a beneficial effect on mucosal regeneration. The menu for gastritis should be varied and contain enough vitamins and minerals. The patient should not starve to death.

Gastritis foods

The therapeutic diet of patients with gastritis necessarily includes foods and surrounding components that repair damaged mucosal cells. The food should contain a lot of B vitamins. These elements are usually not sufficient for diseases of the gastrointestinal tract. Use healthy foods for all forms of chronic gastritis:

  • Oatmeal - a source of fiber, antioxidants;
  • Vegetable oils - contain fatty acids, tocopherol;
  • Milk (if well tolerated);
  • Dairy products - normalize intestinal function due to the high content of bacteria responsible for strong immunity;
  • Ripe bananas - stimulates the production of protective mucus, rich in B vitamins, magnesium;
  • Berries - more digestible than fruits, acid-free varieties are released as the secretion increases;
  • Rice - has absorbent properties;
  • Potatoes - helps to improve metabolism, raw vegetable juice is used for medicinal purposes.

Proper drinking habits will help relieve aggravation and discomfort. The fluid improves the mobility of the gastrointestinal tract, dilutes excess gastric acid. The amount of clean water without gases in the daily diet should be at least 1. 5 liters.
